"Server is down" thread.

I figured that in order to keep this forum from being flooded with these kinds of posts, I would just make one that everyone can use. If the server is down, post it in here please and one of the admins will check on it as soon as they can. =)

Nvm, server is now online.

The server will be down for a day or so... evidently, the computer has stopped recognizing the network card... another unlucky day for us. I will look for a spare network card today or we may have to buy one. Kinda sucks for us also because its where we store our files to share with the apartment. =P Oh well... C'est la vie.

EDIT: The server is back up! Sorry again guys and I hope it stays up for awhile this time!

The server will be down for most of tonight. I decided I absolutely hate vista and am switching back to XP. I believe the server will also run better on XP and will probably be less laggy. Sorry for the inconvenience. I believe it will be worth it in the long run. =)

Server is back up! I am now on XP... hopefully it will run better.

get Windows 7 on man

Let's not make another server change to an OS that hasn't yet been tested fully. I hate having a completely unreliable server, that's what the switch to XP eliminated. Regardless, I'm psyched for 7.
