Fatal Error 7

Well this is embarrassing... I can't get the game to load now after I installed Service Pack 1 for Vista. I get a message on the applet window that says "An error occurred while loading the applet. Please contact support to resolve this issue. Fatal error occurred (7): com.mojang.minecraft.MinecraftApplet"

If anyone knows what this is or how to fix it, lemme know. I really do not want to have to uninstall Service Pack 1 just for this dumb game. Tonight I will try Service Pack 2 and see if it fixes anything.

I'd dunno, but if it was me, i'd probably try reinstalling Java.

That should work, my friend had the same problem with Vista SP1.

Tried that... uninstalled it completely and even cleaned the registry before I reinstalled. Nada. I'm going to put SP2 on and see what happens.

Well I have not found a solution yet and I have tried everything I can think of... I guess I will have to wait till someone figures something out. Here is a post I made on the official forums.

EDIT: Ok it just all of a sudden works again.. no idea why but I am not going to argue with it lol.

I am back to this error again... they just come and go. No idea how to fix it. Will just have to wait for it to work again I guess.

Maybe its the internet browser you are using possibly try downloading another and trying it then
